ABOUT THE ROLE As one of the first Fin-tech Partnerships members, this person will have significant ownership of how Zeal envisions and supports a customer lifecycle. Aligning our company story, marketing materials, product value proposition, sales process, and customer success delivery will be of primary importance. Implementing a cohesive go-to-market motion, while ensuring that the customer is well cared for along their journey, will be the sign of success in this role. This role is a unique combination of go-to-market fundamentals, strategy, and customer advocacy. Since Zeal has a very unique selling proposition, we are looking to target specific areas within "partnerships", each strategy partnerships will be responsible for owning a specific segment that Zeal wants to target. SOME THINGS YOU MAY BE WORKING ON Go-To-Market Strategy - Research and inform sales strategy; create a system for appropriately qualifying and disqualifying leads - Develop target personas for ideal partnerships - Implement a plan for our customer lifecycle, spanning the entire flow from marketing, to sales, to onboarding, to support, to internal roll-out, to contract renewal Pre-Sales and Sales Enablement - Partner with salespeople to acquire new business - Create and deliver demo materials for prospective customers that communicate product value - Establish trial flows that lead to successful adoption and signed contracts - Lead technical discussions with prospective customers, effectively articulating the deep technical value proposition and use cases - Collaborate with prospective customers to solve complex business issues and ensure successful deployments Product Strategy - Advocate for existing and prospective customers and tool practitioners, ensuring that our product roadmap and strategy deliver value - Provide feedback and context to our internal product team on metrics management and tooling best practices from the field - Ensure that the right internal success metrics become institutionalized in order to drive adoption and engagement among customers Customer Onboarding and Customer Success - Work closely with our Implementations team to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process for new partners - Develop tooling to quickly get past customer cold-start metric hurdles and ensure that we show value quickly - Strategize how we compensate internal teams who contribute toward contract renewals YOU HAVE - 3+ years of experience as part of the go-to-market function in a start-up ecosystem - History of delivering customer value in pre-sales, sales, and/or post-sales roles - Deep understanding of fin-tech and how building embedded payroll is important within a customer organization - Customer obsession and willingness to be an advocate internally and externally - Prior experience aligning solutions with customers' strategic objectives - A proactive, hardworking, and high energy/positive attitude NICE-TO-HAVE - Experience building a complete go-to-market organization from inception through scale - Experience or familiarity with API and Integrations - Familiarity with G Suite, Jira, Notion, etc ZEAL CULTURE Zeal is located in the SoMa district of San Francisco and we value in-person collaboration and communication as we grow and scale our business.
