Welcome to this month's update of newly released features. In August we rolled out stronger security with MFA, smarter accruals tracking with dynamic dates, seamless ID verification in contractor onboarding, and custom attributes in onboarding. Plus, Google Wallet integration and compliance improvements to keep your teams moving fast and staying protected.
Easily view worker balances, rules, and policy activity in one place. Payroll admins can preview policies ahead of runs and manage accruals without waiting for checks to process.
Policies can now roll over based on any date, such as a worker’s anniversary date, instead of an annual cutoff. That means cleaner compliance, less manual adjustment, and a smoother worker experience.
Workers can now add Paycards to Google Wallet in just one tap for faster, contactless access to earnings.
MFA is now live across Zeal. Workers log in with email + SMS verification; admins with email MFA. This adds an extra layer of protection to payroll and onboarding.
Want to use AI to answer questions about your onboarding, pay, and billing? For the DIYers, we’ve released a MCP that allows AI tools to interact with our API to retrieve data more easily. Now you can ask AI a question like ‘Give me the month-by-month total of how many workers went through onboarding’ and get fast answers.
Contractors can now upload IDs and complete a selfie check during onboarding. Prevent fraud and keep workflows streamlined with the process embedded in a unified onboarding experience.
You can now use custom attributes in the dashboard and the API to capture custom data during onboarding. Use this to tailor paperwork for different worker groups, collect specific data like certifications, generate more detailed reports, or survey workers for feedback.
Supplement B updates are now easier to manage in the I-9 Hub. When work authorizations change—like an EAD card expiring or being revoked—admins can quickly ask workers to provide new documents that will recertify their eligibility.
